Dream Action #7 is helping us raise $50,000.00 to continue to uplift and empower undocumented immigrant families and communities. Some of these funds will be used to help support three undocumented immigrants currently facing different, but very similar obstacles in their life.
1) The first is a DACA beneficiary that is currently in deportation proceedings in the state of Washington and we will be covering their bail along with legal representation. Amount ranges between $10,000 - $15,000. *UPDATE: STILL PENDING :(
2) The second is a DACA beneficiary that is being deported to El Salvador by the end of this month. Unfortunately, all efforts to keep him in this country have been exhausted. However, we want to end this notion that the fight ends once they are deported. We need to support them if and whenever possible. $2,000 will be allocated for this. *UPDATE: DONE! :D
3) The third is an undocumented immigrant that has been in a detention center AKA immigrant prison for quite some time and we almost have enough funds to bail them out. $1,500.00 will be allocated for this. *UPDATE: DONE! :D
The remainder of the funds will be used to support the work that we are actively doing around the clock to uplift and empower undocumented communities across the nation. This work has been crucial and will continue to be that much more so in the coming weeks and months. We can only continue this impact with your support.
