On November 9, PayPal cut off processing payments for Atlanta Antifascists and Antifa Sacramento. PayPal also cut off funding for the Proud Boys – a violent far-Right organization – on the same day. PayPal’s punishment of anti-fascist organizers is seemingly informed by a “both sides” view, in which anti-fascists are deemed equivalent to the violent far-Right groups they oppose.
This is a temporary fundraiser while Sacramento and Atlanta figure out other payment processing options. Donations will go to our day-to-day work of monitoring and protesting the far-Right. A portion of these funds will also go to the Torch Network, to which both Atlanta and Sacramento chapters belong.
Please spread the word. Every bit helps. Thank you!
