The Southern Worker Justice Campaign (SWJC) educates, mobilizes, and organizes public-sector workers in majority Black, Brown, and immigrant workplaces in Virginia and North Carolina to demand their rights. Public-sector workers need better wages, safer conditions, and more job security. Most of all, they need the right to unionize. We believe that building a mass movement of worker-leaders across the South is essential for transforming our national economy and social conditions.
