Trans United has launched a new program, Showing Up for Our Communities Relief Fund, to address the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and the associated economic pressures that have resulted from social distancing.

Already, in Round 1 of this new program, Trans United has moved a total of $5000 in $100 increments to 50 trans/nonbinary people who are impacted by COVID-19-and we're just getting started, because we know that without this aid, many in our communities are struggling to afford rent, groceries, medication, and other necessities.

As we seek out multiple funding sources to offer a larger Round 2 that can reach even more community members, we ask you: if you have anything to spare, from $5 to $500, please contribute here-your donation will go directly to trans and nonbinary people of color who are in desperate need for support and assistance in the midst of this crisis.

If you yourself are in need of assistance and did not get in on time for Round 1, please keep an eye on Trans United's channels for updates as we raise these funds and offer Round 2 in the coming weeks.
