SWFL SURJ is a chapter of Showing Up for Racial Justice, a national effort to organize white people for justice as part of a multi-racial movement. That includes centering the leadership of poor and working class white folks, actively collaborating with local leaders of color, and donating 50% of funds raised to organizations led by people of color.

We have pot-luck dinners, movie and book discussions, anti-racism workshops, a court observation program, and more. We actively pursue justice in local politics, housing, water, education, voting rights, and criminal justice reform.
