We did it. We stood up to the City and said, “no more pollution.” We won the opportunity to purchase the Roof Depot and make the urban farm a reality.
Now, with the community, architects, and developers, we are moving into the pre-development phase in order to begin taking the critical steps for building a vibrant community-hub in East Phillips.
Right now, we need money for environmental remediation and capacity-building efforts, as well as architectural and engineering assessments.
We’re asking you to help us start off strong. If we can raise $50,000 by 8/25 we’ll get a $10,000 matching grant!
It will take years to turn this opportunity into a reality, so please consider a monthly donation at any amount.
Total start up fees are estimated to be $900,000, and EPNI will be meeting this need through grants, partnerships and additional crowdfunding goals.
