Defending OUR RIGHTS

We are Americans who believe that everyone deserves good healthcare, the right to an honest election where every vote counts, Where Women, people of color and children are valued equally with any other person in America. We believe that a living wage should be the standard and that there should be affordable housing for every person. We believe that There should be a quality public educational opportunities for all students. We believe that Women have the right to control their own bodies and their right to make their own reproductive health choices. We believe that religious freedom is the cornerstone of American Civil liberties and the law of the land and should be preserved. We believe that our nation should strive for peace in the world by having compassion for our international communities.  We must make every attempt to befriend and encourage struggling nations to build democratic countries where citizens can choose their own leaders and where economic success is encouraged and nurtured. We believe that all living things on planet Earth should have the opportunity of surviving in a healthy environment of pure air, water, food and a survivable and sustainable climate. We believe that we are a nation of laws and that the constitution should be honored and enforced. We believe in the first amendment, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Speech and the right to peacfully assemble and the right to submit petitions to our government for the redress of our grievances. We believe the citizens of this nation should defend their right to fairly choose their elected government officials with out interference from Corporate, monied interests but by the honest merit of the citizens chosen to lead.
