Climate Action Stokesley and Villages group supports the Circular Yorkshire campaign and meets monthly as well as working in five sub-groups: energy, food, nature, transport, waste.

We aim to help the communities in Stokesley and the surrounding villages to take action on climate change by supporting and developing local initiatives to reduce carbon emissions or adapt to the changing climate.

We enabled the planting of over 2,000 trees in our first two years, are redistributing local food surplus, running Repair Cafes and are co-ordinating the planning for an active travel route between Stokesley and Great Ayton.
