The Chicago Chapter of The Climate Reality Project is one of 130+ national Chapters. We are a nonpartisan group of local climate activists, comprised of trained Climate Reality Leaders and the public. We work to support the mission of catalyzing a global solution to the climate crisis by making urgent action a necessity across every level of society by connecting to local opportunities to bring about needed change.

We address climate change by seeking to make the transition to a clean energy economy occur as rapidly as possible, prioritizing state and local action. We organize local projects and initiatives as developed by chapter members. And we support Climate Reality Leaders efforts to reach the masses through our cornerstone initiative, former VP Al Gore's slideshow on climate change. Additionally, we rally around The Climate Reality Project’s organizational priorities and campaigns.
