College for All CA is parents, students, workers, teachers, all the people who want to see higher education accessible to families in California.

We formed specifically to pass the College for All CA Act, because we realized that the best way to win proactive, powerful change in California is to take it directly to the voters. Our coalition is open to everyone who wants College for All.

Up until the 1970s public higher education in California was enshrined as a democratic right and effectively tuition free.  For decades, we’ve watched politicians cut funding, raise tuition, and push more and more students deeper into debt, all while handing out tax breaks to the wealthiest Californians.

Thanks to Trump and his enablers in Washington, we are looking at even more tax cuts for the already wealthy and devastating service cuts for average Americans. Now is the time to do more than resist, now is the time to begin building the alternative America we need.

We encourage individual student activists, teachers, parents and others to sign up and get involved. Only with a movement of tens of thousands, can we gather the signatures needed, and pass this bold initiative next November.
