Community Alliance Assoc Inc is a coalition of 13 Gold Coast community groups who have come together to address issues of common concern. A shared theme underpinning many of our issues is the need for better management of growth and the need for far greater delivery of meaningful community engagement. Since incorporation in 2019 we have focused substantial effort to improving liveability outcomes for the community in the face of an unprecedented population surge. This has included detailed submissions to the long-running Gold Coast City planning scheme amendment process and submissions to the State Planning Minister advocating reforms to the Planning Act 2016.
