The End the New Jim Crow Action Network! (ENJAN, pronounced Engine) is a network of local residents working in the Hudson Valley to fight the racist criminal justice system and its policies of racial profiling, police brutality, and mass incarceration. We seek to provide a forum for discussing strategies and tactics for ending the “New Jim Crow” as well as building a powerful movement, both locally and nationally, that can become a social force (or “Enjan”) for doing so.
