Fridays for Future Open Collective USD IT Admin Account
Welcome to the Fridays for Future USD IT Administration Open Collective Work Group
'Everybody is Welcome, Everybody is Needed!'
Goal:
To make money fairly and easily available to activism at the local level.
Reimbursement Principles:
These accounts shall also cover unavoidable costs first:
2. Local Flyers, banners, speaker systems.
3. These accounts shall make an initial donation of the first 50 euro or USD for new accounts.
4. These accounts shall spread out 50 euro or USD twice yearly, eg around large strikes.
5. Large city strike costs shall be encouraged to set up a local account.
6. Travel and accommodation costs, (please note: flight costs and business class train are not seen to fall withing the recommended values)
7. Living costs for full time activists are seen as part of the local accounts.
Operational Principles:
1. These accounts operate are in line with the following agreements:
https://actionnetwork.org/forms/vision/
https://actionnetwork.org/forms/gdpr-agreement-form/
2. These open collective accounts are administrated as a group with trust and therefore it is incorrect to remove people without their written permission, unless they have been inactive in the work for an extended period of time and there is an email or minutes of meeting trail of this and requests where they are clearly unresponsive. As this type of internal theft can occur all accounts are encouraged to keep low balances at all times and spread money around to cover all especially local regular weekly costs.
3. There shall be 3 administrators per account so as, if one administrator is submitting the cost then it shall need to be approved by the other 2 administrators.
