GenERAtion Ratify is the youth-led movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. This amendment was first introduced in 1923. It is now 2019 and it’s about time the ERA is passed. This amendment will work to eliminate legal discrimination on the basis of sex. After nearly 80 years of fighting, it’s time to change the face of the movement by including the next generation- the youth. The youth have proven time and time again that they are today’s leaders and change-makers. From climate change strikes to gun reform laws, the youth have harnessed their unique voices and created a powerful impact. It’s time to add the ERA to the youth agenda.

What started out as a dream of a 14 year-old girl living in Arlington, Virginia has now turned into a nation wide movement that is engaging thousands of youth. GenERAtion Ratify's mission is to mobilize youth across the country to take action to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment into the Constitution of the United States of America.
