Gold Coast Mountain Bike Club (GCMTB) was established in 1990 by a group of dedicated riders. With a rapidly growing membership and easy access to some of the best trails in South East Queensland.

Over the years GCMTB has worked with QPWS, Gold Coast City Council, SEQ Water and various trail care groups at Nerang National Park, Mt Tamborine and Hinze Dam. These relationships have helped produce the trail networks we have today.

The partnership between GCMTB and NTCA (Nerang Trail Care Alliance) has transformed the authorised trail network in Nerang National Park in recent years. Today’s Nerang has a much more diverse trail network as a result.
