Healthcare Rights Coalition
What we believe: We, the members of the Healthcare Rights Coalition, believe healthcare is a human right and therefore a civil right. We believe that every single person deserves access to affordable healthcare regardless of gender, race, religion, creed, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, or physical or mental health disability or illness.
What we do: We are dedicated to amplifying and disseminating the voices of patients who need accessible healthcare. We are dedicated to preserving the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), commonly called Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act (ACA), because it has provided life-saving healthcare to millions of Americans. We are dedicated to improving upon the PPACA's basic tenets while advancing meaningful access to healthcare for all. We will vigorously oppose changes to current law which would result in less care, more expensive care, non-inclusive care, or delayed care. Our members’ lives depend upon it.
What you can do: Join us. And as a member of this group, we ask that you respond to all of our ACTION ALERTS. These are simple yet powerful actions you can take to help us give voice to our concerns. We also ask you to share your story about how having access to healthcare has helped you or a loved one.
