(Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos)
Urban violence is a moral issue just like American slavery and Lynching.
Since 2001, over 4,000 people has been killed in Chicago alone. Black
People in America have been marching and protesting for 52 years since
the Civil Rights Era. African American from the
lower economic class are suffering great harm from senseless violence,
high unemployment, mass incarceration, police brutality, drug abuse,
high illiteracy, inadequate healthcare and failing schools as a result
of institutionalized racism.
I reached out to established black
organizations in my city they refuse to work with me. I reached out to
black churches in both my former and current community they only gave me
lip service by saying keep up the good work. Black People nowadays have
become Americanized and only care about themselves. If the Black Lives
Matter participants would read my story and join my cause we will see
real results in our criminal justice system. I created (GRCAM)
the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called
Gopher to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place
within our inner cities in America, in order for me to connect with
other like-minded individuals who share my concern to form a legitimate
coalition across the United States and around the globe for my cause
Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago.
GRCAM
is a virtual Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is
a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian
socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed,
social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian
denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for:
love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus told
us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew
25:35-40. He also commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us
to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according
to Luke 4:18-19. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus
by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will
promote dignity to the people and community we will serve.
The
mission of GRCAM is to help eradicate urban violence while at the same
time meet the social needs of the communities and families we will serve
if given a chance. After 15 years of reaching out to black people
online and offline I decided to write and publish my experience in hopes
of recruiting brave and smart individuals who will join my management
team. I start writing my manuscript in 2005 and I published my first
book in 2010.
I paid in full for publishing and editing come to
find out my first publisher did not edit my book. Sister Rena purchased
my first book and was lead to assist me in editing my revised book. I
found another publishing company called Createspace which is affiliated
with Amazon I published my revised book in December of 2012. Once I have
my management team in place or once I generate enough capital from my
book sell then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute
of Chicago.
My book is just the beginning what I want to be
remembered for is trying to build something positive in the black co
instead of complaining about the white man, career politicians, and the
government not investing in urban communities. GRCAM will take the lead
to solve black issues once and for all. I am calling for new leadership
in Black America and that’s why I am trying to do. It takes a team to
make a dream work. We have to act now! I am just one black man with a
plan and a vision.
I am called by my Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ to rebuild our inner cities in America and the slums in Africa
similar to that of Nehemiah who was called by God to rebuild the walls
of Jerusalem. Nehemiah used qualified engineers, architects and
inventors to rebuild a new city. Likewise, I want smart individuals on
my management team who will help make my Christian business effective
and successful. I am seeking between 10 to 30 individuals within the
United States who have read my story and have the expertise that I am
looking for which are as follows: Investors, Business Partners,
Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist. I am
also looking for legitimate artists such as film directors, producers,
actors, stage managers, fundraisers, technical directors and marketers
who can assist me with the daily operation of my business. I will
discuss compensation and incentives with them behind closed doors.
What
makes my organization different from other black organizations is that
GRCAI is based on my experience. I want to create a different type of
business that would be more responsive to the needs of individuals and
the community. We will build cooperative alliances to ensure that all of
our members are heard loud and clear and that decisions would always be
made in the best interests of the community as a whole. GRCAI will
serve residents on the Westside of Chicago in the Austin community,
Garfield Park community, and North Lawndale community before we expand
to the Southside of Chicago.
It’s my hope that GRCAI will become a
permanent infrastructure for our Artist in Chicago who will compete with
other cities like Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta and emerge as a Hub
throughout the Mid-West for emerging black artists and upcoming black
Christian Entrepreneurs. GRCAI is about making our urban community
better, healthier, and stronger. By working together, I believe GRCAI
can advocate for a safer community for our inner-city youth and their
families.
The focus of our mission is to create quality programs
and services to strengthen the black family while improving the black
community. In other words, we are focused on helping those that for many
years have been ignored in our society. The Grass Roots Community
Activist Institute will rebuild Black Wall Street within the inner
cities of America by promoting the Black Chicago Renaissance, which was a
creative movement which emerged in Chicago's "Black Belt" which gave
rise to Black writers, political activism, and social change.
I
want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities
within 10 states throughout the Mid-West before we expand my vision on
the African continent. GRCAM will be dedicated in improving the quality
of life for African Americans who reside in the inner cities of America
and Native Africans who reside in the slums of Africa. I continue to
call upon Millennials, Progressive African Americans, African
Immigrants, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Caribbean, Non-black sympathizers, all
Christians regardless of denominations, moderate Muslims, and secular
people who are interested in working with me in turning my vision into a
reality. It’s time for members of the Grass Roots Community Activist
Movement to make GRCAM known both throughout cyberspace as digital
citizens as well as make our presence known in the Black Community
starting in the city of Chicago.
One of GRCAM core beliefs is to
support our local communities and that transforming the world begins
with each of us giving back. GRCAM will do this through our Community
Outreach Programs. We seek to create greater possibilities in life for
at risk youth and underserved urban communities. GRCAM is a global
community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from
behind a computer into urban communities that need our talent and
skills. I believe this act of human collaboration across an open
platform is essential to the low income African American community and
our collective future. We seek to enrich the lives of children and their
families by promoting education and healthy living. GRCAM will
encourages youth in under-resourced communities to use entrepreneurship
based and experimental learning to equip them with the skills needed to
succeed.
The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will
become a global organization which promotes community-based programs and
services we will offer to our members. GRCAI will focus on programs that support local artist and global
communities who want to join our Christian organization. GRCAI will
offer a wide range of activities from purchasing and donating food to
help alleviate the difficult conditions facing our low-income clients to
teaching at risk youth life skills. It takes a team to make a dream work. I am just one black man
with a plan and a vision. It’s time for members of the Grass Roots
Community Activist Movement to do your part as digital citizens to step
up and spread my book information with your family, friends, places of
worship and also at your local community center so that I can eventually
turn my vision into a reality.
GRCAM will offer quality programs and services through our research,
education, and community advocacy. GRCAM is a global community of
thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a
computer into urban communities that need our talent and skills. I
believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is
essential to the low income African American community and our
collective future. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement pledges
to support its active members once we are established in the city of
Chicago as mention in my revised book.
GRCAI will be membership
based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care
about our inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. No
harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No
pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I
get down. GRCAI is open to all ordinary law-abiding citizens, all
racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to
my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
The
only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian
organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I am on
social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube
videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now
through my revised book "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming,
Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" second edition
which is available on Amazon for $15.00 plus shipping and handling also
it’s available as an ebook for $9.99 My revised book is the foundation
of my Christian organization. In my book I provide a 21st century plan
on how my Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence in
Chicago under-served communities while at the same time meet the social
needs of the communities and families we will serve if given a chance.
