“No matter what they ever do to us, we must always act for the love of our people and the earth.” ~John Trudell

Indigenous Peoples’ Day Philly, Inc (IPD PHILLY) is an Indigenous-led emerging non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, PA.

Our mission is to cultivate an active Native American/Indigenous presence in the city of Philadelphia through cultural, educational and community-building initiatives that uplift our Native traditions, creative economies, and histories.

Since 2017, we celebrate, defend and protect Indigenous Peoples' Day--an annual awareness celebration that honors the First Peoples of the Americas. In addition we host Native-led educational events, create ditigial content, and mobilize communities to stand for the rights of Indigenous Peoples.
