Kelly Carmichael Booz is running for the Alexandria School Board in District B. Having served on the Alexandria School Board from 2013-2015, Booz brings needed experience to the board at a critical time as our schools focus on fully reopening, five-days a week and on learning and social-emotional recovery from the impact of COVID-19 school closures. Booz's 20+ years in education with civic education organizations, teacher unions, and working nationally with educators, parents, support staff, and over 400 education organizations make her uniquely qualified for the position.
