Lewis Conway, Jr. spent 2,095 days in Texas prisons and 4,012 days on parole. Today he is the Criminal Justice Organizer with Grassroots Leadership and TAJ (Texas Advocates for Justice), a not-for-profit organization that works for a more just society where prison profiteering, mass incarceration, deportation and criminalization are things of the past.
