Maggie O'Keefe is a voter registration activist and a small business owner in the 40th Ward Lincoln Square neighborhood. Her passion for the democratic process and love for the 40th Ward community activated her to kick-off a grassroots campaign by going door-to-door on February 1st, 2018. By listening to her neighbors in the community, she was able to learn more about key issues people are facing within the 40th Ward. Maggie believes that in order to be an effective leader, views of community constituents should drive development and neighborhood growth.
