Trump and his administration have waged an unprecedented assault on the media. Trump has threatened to sue newspapers, reporters, sources- basically anyone who Trump interprets as his critic. Now White House press conferences are becoming limited and may possibly be shut down altogether. And unbelievably, look how American journalists were kicked out when Trump met with Russian foreign minister & “diplomat” in the Oval Office.

These are dangerous signs straight out of an autocrat’s playbook.  Our Freedom of the Press must be upheld for greater accountability, and it must be protected!
