San Antonio Women committed to speaking up for the environment, women's reproductive freedoms, equality for marginalized groups, compassion for refugees, and other important American values. Our goal is to carry the energy of the Women's March 2017 forward by (1) creating a supportive network of friends/activists, (2) speaking up for the issues important to us, and (3) taking impactful action in our San Antonio community. This group first came together a friends, and friends-of-friends of Justine Hansen and Kelly Masters. We wrote postcards to our US Congressional Reps and discussed next steps. We are collectively aiming to complete the Women's March 10 Actions in !00 Days Campaign and to participate in various activities slated for the San Antonio area, including the March for Science scheduled for Earth Day. We will let each other know about activities happening in the community that might be of interest to our group. If you know someone who would like to join our group, please invite them.
