The Maryland HBCU Advocates formed to educate the public on the 15-year long lawsuit involving the 4 Maryland Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), to mobilize the community around the successful settlement of the lawsuit, and to raise awareness and appreciation for the value of HBCUs.
