About the Chapter

We are a group of volunteer advocates working on #insulin4all action in the MENA Region to raise awareness about the insulin price crisis and improve the lives of people with diabetes in our country.

We are supported by T1International, a UK-registered Charity that advocates for and with everyone with type 1 diabetes around the world.

I have been living with type 1 diabetes since age 11. Diabetes was, still is, and will always be my top priority. Living with diabetes in the Arabic communities can be stressful, tough, and full of discrimination. People with diabetes usually fail to find support, guidance, and even access to their basic health rights. Creating a MENA region Chapter of T1International will help us support and advocate for people living with diabetes in the region using different methods. We have a message, and we'll make sure our message will be loud, will be heard, and will create a change
