The Green New Deal working group of Metro DC DSA is designed to act as a broader space for GND-oriented and GND-adjacent advocacy, organizing, analysis, education, and socialization.  The GND WG will act as a coordinating space for GND related campaigns within the chapter, and an entrypoint for chapter members interested in getting involved in GND/ecosocialist, organizing but not ready to commit to a specific campaign. More broadly, it will liaise with GND-related organizations in the community which do not neatly fit under the purview of a specific campaign, and to the national DSA Green New Deal Campaign Commission, and it will act as an incubator for ecosocialist analysis and education within the chapter.
