Nature Abounds

Nature Abounds™, a national 501c3 non-profit organization, encourages you to Unplug from the societal "norms", Wake Up to the natural world around you, and to Take Action for a healthier environment. To do so, we RISE to the occasion:

  • Raise awareness through education, action, and inspiration.
  • Inform about environmental issues.
  • Strengthen the voice of action.
  • Engage all ages in creating healthier communities and a healthy planet where people and wildlife can co-exist peacefully.

Formed in 2008, Nature Abounds has already launched two successful citizen-science programs nationally, IceWatch USA and Watch the Wild,  a few environmental education opportunities nationally including Turtle Ambassadors and Climate Change Ambassadors, as well as Knitters for Nature's Critters. Likewise, Nature Abounds has revitalized the Senior Environment Corps, a group of senior citizens volunteering for the planet. Nature Abounds is engaging volunteers across all fifty states and Puerto Rico.
