We as a community group are pro-development and affordable housing in Lambeth. But not at the size, scale and density that Hadley Group & Clarion are proposing on the Homebase site at Streatham Vale.

What do we want?

1) Reduce the scale and density of the development

2) Stop pretending this is about providing affordable housing for Lambeth, Hadley is hiding behind the 35% target for affordable housing. This is all about prioritising profit over people.

3) Let's be honest about the impact of a development of this size on the highways,  parking and access to amenities in this already congested area.  

We speak on behalf of a vocal and passionate local activist group, born out of helplessness felt by the brick walls we all keep facing as we watch this overbearing design and planning progress.
