NYU DSA is New York University's chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, the largest socialist organization in the nation with over 30,000 members. In an era of racial, ecological, and political upheaval, we believe that not only is a new society possible, it is necessary for our survival. As democratic socialists, we believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few. Our campus organization will be focused on creating the next generation of radical organizers through various readings, trainings, and events.
