WHO ARE WE

One People’s Project was formed out of the efforts to oppose a White Supremacist rally in Morristown, NJ on July 4, 2000 by community members concerned about a rising tide of racism and fascism that we began to see at the time. Our mission is simple: to research and report on who’s who and what’s what regarding right-wing groups, individuals and activities, and encourage society to be vigilant against them in an effort to diminish their ability to function and cause that society. While we are seen as the pioneers of doxing, ultimately we are reporters giving everyone the who, what, when, where and why. That is why have been a go-to source for anyone wanting to learn more about the hate politics in today society. We have appeared on the Montel Williams Show, A Current Affair, Fox News’ the Big Story and various local broadcasts as well as publications. We are also referenced in several books from Gwen Ifill’s book The Breakthrough to one of neo-fascist Andy Ngô’s. In addition a number of documentaries and feature films put us in the spotlight, such as Alt-Right Age of Rage (2018) Skin (2018), which features Mike Colter as OPP’s Executive Director Daryle Lamont Jenkins, and We Don’t Walk in fear (2022) a documentary about Daryle and his life and work.

In 2015, One People’s Project created Idavox, a dedicated news outlet for all the information we had been providing for the fifteen years later. In recent years, we have created a separate website for our Rogues’ Gallery, which features capsule bios of groups and individuals that we feel the public need to be aware of.

Since the inception of OPP, a number of major white supremacist groups have fallen apart, some of it due to our work, but as we have seen in recent years with the ascension of Donald Trump into fascist politics and his cultish supporters have shown us, none of this meant that the hatemongers have thrown in the towel just yet. For now it is working for them somewhat, but it will not stay that way. There will never be safe spaces for fascists, not as long as good people remain vigilant. One People’s Project is dedicated to that vigilance.

One People’s Project is a 501(c)(3) organization. EIN: 47-2026442
