Many of us are shocked at the results of the election -- that our country elected the candidate that ran on a platform of hate. Throughout Trump's campaign, he used dehumanizing, violent language targeting so many different groups and denying their rights. Trump and Pence have made horrifying statements about women, Muslims, Blacks, LGBTQ, immigrants, the disabled, and others. Still, he won. Let's keep hope and work to support a progressive platform that includes rights, respect, and safety for ALL Americans.
