We are calling for reform in our local Police system to combat the systemic racial violence that we have seen come to a peak with the senseless murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and so many other persons of color, and specifically African-Americans. Police brutality and systemic violence must be stopped and we need to speak out not only on a national and global scale, but also on our very own local plane.
