Protest Border Patrol

The Trump administration is deploying law enforcement tactical units from the southern border as part of a supercharged arrest operation in sanctuary cities across the country, an escalation in the president’s battle against localities that refuse to participate in immigration enforcement.

Border Patrol's elite SWAT team receives sniper certification and is armed with stun grenades. They're usually used to break up smuggling operations at the border.

Trump is now sending them to 10 major cities to assist with routine immigration arrests. Potential sanctuary cities include Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, Boston, New Orleans, Detroit and Newark, N.J.

Immigrant rights are human rights, and we must condemn Trump's actions, especially those that consistently dehumanize our black & brown brothers and sisters.

Join us on President's Day (February 17, 2020) from 12 pm to 3 pm to protest against the Trump Administration and ICE's inhumane militarization of U.S. deportation forces.
