Protruth is a campaign and a movement to fight the deceptive tactics of fake clinics, also known as “crisis pregnancy centers,” in New York City.

Fake clinics operate all over this country, including right here in New York City. Fake clinics work to make themselves look and sound like real women’s health clinics, but they are often unlicensed and volunteer run, with no doctors or medical professionals on site. Very simply, the goal of fake clinics is to prevent women and girls from obtaining abortion care. We believe it is unacceptable for any woman or girl to be manipulated or lied to about her body. Every woman has a right to know the truth about her health. Therefore, we have launched ProTruth.
