There are many barriers to reporting sexual violence: from discrimination from communities to a slow functioning criminal justice system. Women survivors often aren’t aware of and may not have the support they need to access justice.

Through the Ready to Report campaign, Amnesty International India is calling for an enabling environment for reporting sexual violence through working with survivors of sexual violence, government authorities and local communities.
