This group is dedicated to fighting for local reparations in Kansas City, Missouri.  Reale Justice Network has been at the forefront of the Reparations Movement in Kansas City, Missouri.  

Over the last several years, our executive director, Justice Janae Gatson, has worked on a national level to push HR40 and has held a leadership position in the local fight here in Kansas City.  

She chaired the KC Reparations Coalition until May of 2023, working to ensure the establishment of an official Mayor's Commission on Reparations.

Justice was appointed by Mayor Quinton Lucas as an advisor to his official Reparations Commission representing Reale Justice Network and highlighting the reproductive injustices that Black people of all genders faced during chattel slavery and present day atrocities.

This is a multi-cultural, intergenerational movement that centers the experiences of Black Kansas Citians of all ages and backgrounds.  

This is also a Black youth centered movement that uplifts, centers and encourages Black youth to take leadership positions in this important work.  

We want to make sure that the concerns of the youth and those working in the reproductive justice space are heard loud and clear.
