Richard Walker, long-time community advocate and mental health professional, is running for House of Delegates District 79 to change the narrative in Virginia and create a Commonwealth that ensures the rights of all Virginians to economic stability, clean air and water, and to have their voices heard over corporate interests. From standing up with Union Hill to defeat Dominion Energy's polluting compressor station that targeted the historic Black community, to helping get fair chance hiring policy passed in over municipalities, Richard has an established record of influencing change. And he will never take money from corporate donors - his campaign and policies are fueled only by the people.

Richard will be the People’s Delegate - he is a compassionate grassroots leader who will bring his experience from years of tireless advocacy to the General Assembly to pass legislation that uplifts everyday Virginians, not corporate interests.
