Sanctuary Families
The Sanctuary Families Project is a group of Brooklynites that organized in the wake of Trump's election to provide extra support to families impacted by deportation. Sanctuary works with the Center for Family Life, a social service organization in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, a neighborhood of mostly undocumented Chinese and Spanish-speaking families that has been thrown into crisis since ICE has increased its activities in our city. The Center provides holistic legal, economic and mental health support. Sanctuary members are committed to leveraging our personal, professional and political networks on behalf of the Center’s most vulnerable clients.
