The Horn Antenna, a National Historic Landmark used by two Holmdel Bell Labs Nobel Prize winners to confirm the "Big Bang" theory of the creation of the universe, is located in Holmdel atop Crawford Hill, Holmdel, the highest elevation in Monmouth County.

Concerned citizens including Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU), Friends of Holmdel Open Space (FOHOS), and Preserve Holmdel (PH) urge the Holmdel Township Committee, the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders, and New Jersey state Legislature to preserve the Horn Antenna and Crawford Hill as a public National Historic Landmark and public park in perpetuity.
