Save Our Southern Gold Coast Assoc Inc (SOSGC) is a community-based group working with well-credentialed professionals to advocate for a better future for our area.

We are pro-public transport. We consider that time, costs and the emergence of better, far lower cost, more sustainable transport modes has well and truly overtaken light rail as the preferred option. We wish to see the gigantic light rail budget redirected towards a broader range of well-documented, better value for money solutions that deliver modern, high-frequency public transport for all of the City (including Robina and the northern growth corridor), not just the coastal strip.
