Committed to advancing social, economic and environmental justice in Idaho and across this country, we are part of People's Action a powerful new force for democracy and economic fairness. From family farms to big cities, from coast to coast, we’re fighting for community over greed, justice over racism, and people and planet over big corporations.

We’re up against tremendous forces. An economic and political system designed to benefit corporations and a tiny few, pushing the rest of us to the margins. Systems of racism and exclusion that perpetuate violence and deny people even the essentials based on race, gender, and country of origin.

Here’s the good news. All these systems are the creations of people. They can be dismantled and remade by people. And, at People’s Action, we’ve signed up for this reimagining and rebuilding.

Our history’s most powerful movements teach us an important lesson: We won’t win more by demanding less. So, we’ve got our sights set on the long term. While we fight for change here and now, we’re also working to rebuild our economy and create a democracy for all of us.

We work to promote policies that reflect these ideals to create systemic change in Idaho and 34 other states across this country. We put vision into action to make real improvements in people's lives.

Together in coalition with organizations and individuals, we have worked tirelessly to improve the overall health, well being, and quality of life of hardworking Idahoans. As a statewide network of individuals and organizations, we work to advance public policy and support leaders to strengthen democracy, human rights, social and economic justice here in Idaho. We are about uniting people locally and nationally, on-the-ground and through social networks to win a more just and progressive Idaho. We work to achieve policy that advances our values and promotes investment in Idaho communities, puts people before profits and provides all people the same opportunities only afforded some.
