The heart of UW Faculty Forward is our voluntary faculty union, a chapter of SEIU 925, led by a core faculty organizing committee.

Our dues-paying members cross campuses, departments, tenure status and ranks, as we work together to address urgent issues like state funding, faculty representation on the Board of Regents, fair treatment for lecturers, and racial and gender equity in the hiring, promotion and tenure process.

What we have in common is our commitment to quality education for all students, affordable access to higher education, excellence in research and scholarship, and fairness for all faculty.
