Verizon FiOS is Comcast’s only true competitor in Philadelphia, with faster service, affordable plans, better customer service and the technology fit to carry us into the future. That is why Verizon was offered a lucrative, incentivized contract stating all of Philadelphia would be covered by 2015. Yet, as this deadline has come, Verizon’s end of the bargain has not been met, leaving our communication workers out of jobs and our communities without service. We need Verizon FiOS to finish the job and make sure our city does not fall further behind in the growing digital divide.
