Local 843 is comprised of Washington State workers employed in human service work in King County, WA. We are a division of the Washington Federation of State Employees, which itself is also known as Council 28 of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees.

Our members come from Aging and Long-Term Services Administration, Children’s Administration, Developmental Disabilities Administration, and Economic Services Administration.
