Are you a student at American University interested in fighting for economic justice?  Join Young Democratic Socialists of America, a nationwide student organization committed to building democracy in the workplace and in the classroom.

At AU, both students and workers have demands from the school. By joining workers to fight for labor rights, we hold AU accountable to the same standards we want students to be treated. We also hold many teach-ins on tenants rights, labor organizing, and reproductive rights. As a highly political school, many of us believe that a better world is possible, and our fight for democracy reflects this and defies the cynicism that is so pervasive in politics today.
