Educators need you to support education funding.

Charles County Public Schools used to receive 51% of the Charles County Budget. We have consistently been declining and are now around 41%. With the additions of the Blueprint and the extended demands from establishing PreK down to 3-year-olds and increasing our college program to promote college credits while in high school, it is time for that number to return to where it was a decade ago.

We believe in the Blueprint and its expansion of services to our students and our community, and we know that you do as well. It is not the time to ask the school system to do more with less. We need to do more with more support. That is where we need the county commissioners to do more.

To elevate Charles County public education, EACC and CCPS are advocating for what’s best for our students, community, and members/employees. We need your support to encourage the County Commissioners to fund more than the maintenance of effort to include the negotiated agreements and the school system's expansion of programs in alignment with the BluePrint for Maryland's Future.

Use this tool to email the Commissioners to share your story/experiences today, as your personal testimony will elevate the voice of those closest to our school system!
