Legislators Must Pass a Georgia Work Credit in 2023

We’re calling for state leaders to step up and do what’s best for Georgians by prioritizing the Georgia Work Credit. Currently, Georgia is missing out on a tool used by more than 30 other states to support hardworking families, boost local economies and help communities thrive.

The Georgia Work Credit (or state Earned Income Tax Credit) returns up to $500 per year to families with low to moderate incomes. The added funds help workers and their families afford basic necessities like child care, save for a rainy day, or invest more money into their local community.

Now is the time to enact a Georgia Work Credit and provide much-needed support for more than a million families across Georgia. Write a letter asking your lawmaker to support a Georgia Work Credit in 2023!
