President Rosenbury and Barnard College Leadership:

We support the Barnard RA Union’s demand for a stipend of $5k a year, in addition to a room and a meal plan at no cost for all RAs. We urge Barnard to do the right thing and settle the first contract on those terms.

Barnard RAs do invaluable work for the Barnard community. For this labor, we believe the above demands are entirely reasonable and make steps to fit the ideals of Barnard College in empowering young women by valuing their work and dedication.

We demand that Barnard Raise up our RAs by giving them fair and equal compensation for their work!
