BDS Founder Omar Barghouti’s Israeli Permanent Residency Status Should be Revoked

Omar Barghouti is a co-founder of the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.

BDS is a hate group that seeks the destruction of Israel by isolating Israel and attempting to harm its economy.

BDS engages in anti-Israel propaganda in an attempt to demonize and delegitimize Israel.

BDS activists engage in racist antisemitic hate speech and have convicted of Holocaust denial and crimes related to hounding an Israeli businessman.

BDS groups have openly supported convicted terrorists who have murdered Israelis and Americans and have engaged in fundraising for terrorist organizations. Several members of terrorist groups are also active in the BDS movement.

Omar Barghouti has admitted that the goal of the BDS movement is the destruction of Israel. BDS position, in Barghouti’s own words is: "Most definitely we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine."

The United States has recently banned Omar Barghouti from entering the US.

In astounding hypocrisy, Qatari-born Barghouti himself lives in Israel and has completed an academic degree in Tel Aviv University, while promoting the destruction of Israel via the BDS movement he founded and leads.

It is mind-boggling that Israel grants residency status to a foreign citizen who is hell bent on its destruction.

Israel should follow the example set by the United States and revoke Barghouti’s residency status, so he no longer be able to reside in Israel.
