Boycott Artist and Craftsman Supply: No Business when Workers are Silenced
Artist and Craftsman Supply in the U-District recently fired a worker for wearing a watermelon pin in solidarity with Palestine. ACS claims to be a progressive company that stands against racial and anti-LGBTQ bigotry yet caters to anti-Palestinian bigotry even as the Palestinian people are subjected to genocide by the apartheid regime of Israel.
We call on the Seattle community to reject the false progressivism of a company that claims to stand for the LGBTQ community yet fires workers for standing against a genocide that has killed hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, including queer Palestinians. Join us in boycotting Artist and Craftsman Supply until they establish a firm protection for workers against being fired for their political views and publicly apologize to the terminated worker.
Use this letter template to send a message to ACS management that the Seattle community stands against this unjust firing and will boycott their store until workers are protected from their mismanagement.
